Hello Andrew,
 
After your assessment and recommendation to a have review by Centrelink of my mother’s pension payment, I would like to pass on a sincere thank you from our family and in particular my mother. As a result of your investigation, it was established that Centrelink had incorrectly entered details of my mother’s assets in determining her aged pension payment. This has now been amended and adjusted accordingly resulting in an increase to her pension.  This will also result in a small reduction of the daily fees at her retirement village residence.
 
It had been a tough 12 months for my mother, losing her husband of 56 years and more recently, her carer. Shortly after this, she had a bad fall, resulting in a broken hip and a major hip replacement operation. This left our family in a commonly heard of situation of how best to take care of our mother physically, mentally and financially. After the emotionally challenging decision and process of selling the family home and placing our mother into an aged care facility, we then had the task of making sure that she would not have to worry about any financial matters.
 
Whilst we did everything with the best intentions, and in the most part did well, this scenario also reinforced to us the importance of having a relationship with a suitably qualified professional such as yourself to guide us.  Once again Andrew we thank you, and look forward to continuing our family’s relationship with you in the years to come.
